This nice looking 1955 is a good utilitarian example of its breed. It shows very little chrome, utilizes a small rear window, and has an inline six engine. However, it does sport accessory door window visors.

While the '56 GMCs were nearly identical to the '55s, this one has chrome and stainless trim, a big back window, and a side mount spare tire.

As with the 1957 Chevrolets, the 1957 GMCs sported a new grille that was used for only one model year. The color matching emblems are a custom touch.

In 1958 the front fenders grew significantly. They now housed two lamps each. And notice the different grille. The model designator moved back to the center of the grille.

Very little changed from the 1958 model year. Notice the absence of the bumper bullets.
